Eye-Spy: Signs of Spring

Flowers are in abundance here in Florida.  Our climate is a little bit different than the rest of the United States.  We started picking strawberries in December, our best tomatoes are in season right now, and blueberry and peach season will finish in May. Corn should be in season soon too. My family tries to eat in season and locally, especially hitting up the u-picks. I'll post about the best places to U-pick for my Friday post.  I started Eye-Spy on Wednesdays as a way to share what I saw during the week as well as have a way to write on my long-work Wednesdays.    I don't have any of those pictures of those crops to share yet so enjoy my weekend flower pictures.  Sadly I don't know their names. If you do, feel free to let me know!      Enjoy  my signs of spring.

  1. Thanks for the flowers to brighten our day. I look forward to future U-Pick stories, which remind me of Florida time among strawberry bushes long ago with my grandfather.
